What Is The Best Pond Pump To Buy?
ByI’m after buying a good quality pond pump ,at the moment i have a large holding tank with koi in it , and the problem is the pump i have at the moment can’t remove the waste from the bottom of the tank . Can anyone suggest a decent pump for about £110 ish to solve this? Also if possible i’d want the outlet to the hose to rise vertically up to the filter . I’ve considered a Hozelock Titan 5500 but not sure how the hose rises from the unit .Can anyone advise please .

Uh not much i know about pond pumps but i am currently using a
Aquabelle 500 Pump and Fountain Kit: http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/pr… the pump all depends on how big the pond it because you don’t want to have something that is too strong or too weak for the fish to handle, so i would go the a pond store with the dimensions and capacity of your ponds and i am sure they know which pump suits your pond.
My pond is not huge only around 200 gallon which looks something like this: http://coastalpondsolutions.com/images/2… I am more of an aquarium person then a pond since i live in the cold part of U.S. So i pretty much know way more about aquariums than ponds, but i hope i been a help in some sort of way…take care.

Best pumps for an outside pond is either a float opp sub pump that will take dirty water, or a heating pump like that on your home heating unit, both of these are robust and last especially the heating pump, hope this helps
