My husband feels so-so about this pump. It doesn’t really say what it will do, how high it will pump, whether you should filter the water or not.

Worked as advertised. I just installed it into my pond this morning. The motor in the pump needed a bit of convincing to get pumping. I disassembled the front cover to the pump and turned the pump by hand and that seemed to do the trick. Good product…

the solar panel only works with strong sunlight and blue skies. there’s a nice jet of water then, maybe over 2 feet. however mine has stopped working after only a couple of months, but i haven’t checked why yet, could be a loose wire or something. anyway i bought it just as an experiment, so i’m not worried. if it was still working i’d give it 3 1/2 stars

I am using this device for a purpose outside of its normal “fountain” purpose. I am using it to transfer water from one aquarium to another with the fountain indoors. The installation and connections were very easy and elementary. Problems: I had one plug connector pull off, which required replacement, and a small crack in the glass of the panel, which I thought would not be worthy of “fussing about”, has quickly grown to cover the entire panel due to the heat expansion of materials while in use. I would purchase another if I had assurance that the product would arrive intact and without cracks, now that I’m aware of potential concerns.
